As an artist, I love to explore how color can feel almost tangible. In this piece, I played with texture so that gold doesn’t just shine - it vibrates across the canvas. Every stroke was applied with feeling, and the drops of paste are like tiny dew beads, reflecting light differently as the day goes by. I especially enjoy seeing the golden hue change with every step - soft and gentle in the morning light, deep and mysterious by evening. Did you know the textured painting technique was inspired by experiments with decorative plasterwork in architecture? I’ve adapted it for canvas to add extraordinary volume and play of light. This painting reminds me of spring dew, when every sunbeam brings the surface to life. My goal is to create works where you can feel true warmth and lightness - I hope this golden texture will speak to you in its own special way.
